Thank-you to everyone who came along and took part in this Years Summer Competition. It was a good Evening of Judo with some fantastic contests from our tiny tots all the way up to the seniors. So nice to see club members playing a big part in running the competition with many being involved in refereeing, timing and the scoreboards. This help made the competition run very smoothly and we nearly even managed to finish on time.

It wouldn't be a Shodan Competition without our Adam managing to pick up an injury but at least he managed to win all three of his contests and pick up a Gold Medal.

A Big thank-you to everyone who helped org anise things especially those who helped to place the mats and chairs and a big thanks to the team captains - Alan, Matt and Lucy.

Lucy Buffham for some great Judo and attitude when faced with having to fight the big heavy seniors.

 

We may look to repeat the competition in the Winter so look out for news on that to come. The next competition is the Trowbridge Championships on the 21st of July. I do hope we can take over a large squad to compete and bring home plenty of medals. Full details and Entry forms to follow.
